Girl, You’re Burning at Both Ends... and the Middle!

Hi! I’m Jenny and I haven't always been a confident person.

As a kid I was suuuper awkward, uncoordinated, and felt like I didn’t fit in. I was the redhead with freckles in a time where blue eye shadow was the bomb (which looks horrible on me) and was always chosen next to last in gym class. In my late teens and early 20s I struggled with body image issues and an eating disorder.

For much of my life my inner critic was a tyrant that worked overtime telling me that I wasn’t enough, I wasn’t doing enough, or doing it right. I was my own biggest bully and inflicted a lot of self-abuse mentally, emotionally and physically. I became very good at brutalizing myself, and these near-constant thoughts pulled me away from being in the moment or enjoying many experiences.

I’m happy to say I’ve gone from a constrained, small town girl to a force to be reckoned with. I travel the globe speaking on stages in front of tens of thousands of people, have successfully run my own business for 30 years, navigated a divorce, and stepped into a queer identity. I’m parenting our daughter from a place of intentionality, am married to my soul mate, and am happy with the level of fulfillment and balance between my professional life and my personal life.
